Schwinn Manta Ray Stingray Bike Seat Early 1970's.

Auction is for one used seat as pictured in all photos as shown. This is the 2 year only Manta Ray seat. I make no warranties regarding this seat or what is stated in this description is correct. Seat was recovered and as you can see the dark red stripe and "s" on top, the screen bled into/around the screen onto the silver glitter material as shown. Recover in my opinion was done very well, just the screen did not turn out well. It has the reflector tab which along with the seat post bracket on the pan is solidly attached with no wiggle. Most of these I have seen have the nut and bolt just above the seat pan, this has the hole(s) drilled but no nut or bolt. I think these were used to hold the pans together, but this pan is in there tight, no wiggle, not going anywhere. The pan bottom might be the original paint seems very solid, not much if any rust viewed. No crunchy sides on the bottom of this pan. Also comes with a new reproduction Manta ray seat tag as shown along with a couple of small rivets in the blue tape as shown that should work in mounting the tag, but again there are no warranties made or given regarding this or anything about this seat. There are a couple of holes in seat where a tag would go. No rips or tears in the cover, looks nicely done. Recover this one, or use it as it is. Tough seat pan to find. I tend to over describe a lot of flaws here on Ebay in my listings, I only want to give a detailed description of the item as I do not accept returns and make no warranties or guarantee anything I have stated is correct or anything at all regarding the seat.
