Schwinn Persons 1964 Stingray Bike White Polo Seat

Auction is for one used seat as pictured in all photos as shown. Came off a 1964 Stingray if I remember correctly.. Persons Company made these seats for Schwinn as well as other bike makers in the early 60'a. The Schwinn bikes had a Persons Worcester Mass seat tag riveted on the back. Some of the other bike makers elected to not have a tag on the back of the seat. This seat has a tag on the back, writing on tag has worn off as shown. Schwinn also put a not for 2 rider warning sticker on the bottom that easily wore off, this has a white sticker with the writing off the sticker. I can not tell if this seat has been recovered in the past, or if it is all original. The seat pan does not look to have been restored, has the old white sticker on the pan, metal seat tag is old and worn, could be an all original seat, I can not say for sure though. Pan edges look good from what I can see. Seat clamp is solid/no wiggle at all and comes with the clamp as shown. Cover has a repair on the top of seat near the back, a white type of sealer over a tear. Same whit substance used on the side of seat. Rips and tears on bottom and side, look at pics posted please. Bottom of pan has some rust as shown but no holes and seems solid. This might be just the right seat as it is for a bike in similar worn condition as this seat, also in my opinion a good candidate for a recover but look at photos and decide for yourself. The pan bottom has the rust on the surface as shown but seems solid, no crunchy sides/edges or areas on the pan viewed. I tend to over describe a lot of flaws here on Ebay in my listings that end up making my item seem in worse shape than it might be. But I get so frustrated when I see an item on Ebay or anywhere I like and the description only states see photos for condition. Then you only see a couple of poor photos of the item. I only want to give a detailed description of the item with many photos as well as I do not accept returns and make no warranties or guarantee anything I have stated is correct or anything at all regarding the seat.
